Problems with smoothing and auto smooth

Hello community, I’m having some problems with smoothing meshes.

I made a very simple plane, and I smoothed it using smooth faces and auto smooth in normals in object data properties . Then, I left and exported the half finished mesh. Next day, when I wanted to finish the plane, when changing the angle image for some reason the plane stayed as smooth as when I exported it the day before.

Now I can’t change how smooth the mesh is anymore.

Make sure you clear custom normals split data, you can find this below auto smooth under Geometry Data.Untitled
