Problems with the display of engraved fonts

Hello,

I’m a complete beginner when it comes to Blender.
I want to create a simple photo studio scene with a transparent background.
I’ve already tried various HDRIs, but the embedded text is always difficult to see. What do I have to change so that the text can be seen better? (It always looks great with raised text).

You can create a reflector to block the light from that area, or rotate the HDRI to change the direction of the light.

Or use a different HDRi.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

Is the text part of the geometry, bump map, or just a normal map?

If it’s geometry, you could add some bevel to the text edges. If it’s a bump map, you might need to blur the texture a bit, and if it’s a normal map, you might need to remake the texture.
