On this post I’d like to give credits to some sources of inspirations and resources I used for the project.
On the inspiration side
- I looked a lot at original GOT designs from karakter
- medieval props from kitbash3D , and big-medium-small.
- pitibonom work on Carcassonne was really interesting to look at.
- The unseen westeros post from ManuelGrad was quite interesting too.
But of course after a few weeks I got countless image in my reference board, I’ll try to complete the list as I go !
Textures
Most of the textures comes from PolyHeaven and AmbiantCG
Geometry nodes
- I used some groups from FrankFirsching GitLab,
- Some tools from higgsas : BA Thread,
- Of course zeroskilz Curve Sweeper and tools was very useful in many places !
- And moshus saved my day with his grouped statistics node.
Also a few tutorials really helped me :
- Plexus effect from Entagma is a powerful tool that I used in many places.
- This one from default cube is a clever trick that helped me to split each farm’s field.
- And last but not least, Erindale’s awesome tutorial to make a grouped bounding box node, so much useful !
