I was experimenting to see if I could come up with a bit more detailed and complete procedurally approximated circuitry board material for Cycles. I based it off of this one by Mario Liang https://youtu.be/8xYE0k1ePd4?si=Sm5AAxPt3zE6O-0W
I added various chips and capacitors. It’s somewhat reasonable, but it requires adaptive subdivision and is still a bit spotty. Overlapping can be somewhat controlled by adjusting seed values for the 4D Voronoi textures. I think Geometry nodes would probably just be a much better solution.
