Project aeg (working title) seeking artists

HexerProductions is currently seeking artists, both 3D and traditional, for production on an artistic exploration/adventure game currently titled Project AEG. The project is being operated on a volunteer work basis, with the possibility of revenue shares/pay based upon the market success of the game.

Brief Story Synopsis:
Eons after a cataclysmic event known as the Calamity Star burns his world and rips a tear in the fabric of space, a creature known only as a Denizen awakes to find strange alien creatures have populated his home, Cardinal Space, after fleeing the end of reality. Compelled by a voice in his head, the Denizen treks out into the world, meeting strange creatures and preventing all-out war on his quest to build the mysterious Operator Core in order to save reality itself.

Visual Styling/Graphics:
Project AEG will utilize a combination of Low Poly modeling and our own unique shading style to create a stunning visual appeal in order to bring the world of Cardinal Space to life.

Gameplay:
Project AEG is an artistic exploration/adventure game designed in Unity, set in a fictional alien world. The game will focus on exploring a beautiful, living and varied world with unique creatures and environments, as well as uncovering the underlying dramatic history of Cardinal Space and The Web that surrounds it.

The game will feature multiple unique alien creatures, possessing their own personally crafted cultures and political systems, backstories, and more. The game world will include many varied and beautiful ecosystems/biomes, containing a wide variety of alien fauna and flora.

Unlike many games, the central focus of project AEG’s gameplay will NOT be combat/altercation. The primary focus of the game is to create a stunning world in which players may experience and explore the detailed and storied history of the extended multiverse we have created for this project. However combat WILL be present in the game, giving players the options of offensive, defensive, or stealth play styles as well as a combination of all three.

Project Inspirations:
Primary inspirations for Project AEG include Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild (gameplay and environment interactions), No Man’s Sky (dialogue, science, and visual styling), and other sci-fi related media such as Star Wars, The Expanse and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
