Project "metadata"? / Project 'properties'?

Is there a way to embed metadata in *.blend files?

By this I mean: “Author”, “Client”, “Title” -type information that is convenient to have semi-permanently attached to a file. Or, if anything unusual, like an odd framerate. Much like a word processor often has a “Properties” field. EG, here’s the one from Libre Writer:

I’ve used the Text editor (in Scripting) to make notes for the file, and this may serve your purpose. This might be a good suggestion for Right Click Select (https://blender.community/c/rightclickselect/) which is a forum for proposing ideas for Blender.
