Projection Painting

I’m trying to use the projection pain features in the texture paint mode.
Blender 2.53.0 r30581
Windows Vista 32 bit.

When I click on the quick edit button Gimp loads ok but I get en error message that states the file cannot be found.

Opening ‘C:\Users\James\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.53\config\startup_Cube000.png’ failed: Could not open ‘C:\Users\James\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.53\config\startup_Cube000.png’ for reading: No such file

  1. So where is the setting to tell gimp where this file is and why does the default blender save it in one location then pass the above directory to GIMP?

I must be missing something hear - as I cannot find any other users reporting this message -

  1. I also had trouble finding any reference to this in the blender bug tracker.
There didn’t appear to be any search facilities.

No great rush to resolve this it has just been nagging for a few days.

pretty good!
