I would think it would take more advanced technology to get a light blade to curve like that than a straight blade. Nevertheless, it looks good.

@Shane: Cheers! I did consider that but I felt that it would be harder to get it to suddenly end the way they do. For them to do that I reckon that the beam is either some kind of particle beam or plasma which should be easier to steer than light. I didn’t, at all, just think that it would be cool. Nope, not at all.
