Nice. PS1 aesthetics feel.
I have to admit, when this game began to go viral and have its content all over Youtube, it was a bit confusing.
There seemed to be a standard that was to be followed that strongly implied that this was some previously unknown structure somewhere in the real world that was abandoned (because the site already had a lot of channels where people explored abandoned properties). It took a little while to realize that it was just a hot new game that everyone wanted to play.
For this specific rendition though, it does in fact capture the gritty and aliased PS1 look save for some wavy textures that resulted from the lack of proper UV mapping (though it honestly did not look that bad back then, as I for one was gaming on a 1980’s CRT display when the console came out).
Great sound design. That click sounded very satisfying.
