^well… that is problem! Need I some other schedule to put music or sound effect in my animation? I have tried to put wav-file in sound block, but nothing happens in final animation.

Use the video sequence editor, from the menu Add select audio.

There is in render-menu button called radio…
i am not sure about the current version, but in the past it needed to be a 16 bit mono wav file, and to load it, you do it like a video strip, just shift-A in the video sequence editor, drag it down to a track and click it in place. in the sound buttons press ‘scrub’ if you want to hear frame by frame playback, but you must play the anim with alt-A, or the play button to make ‘scrub’ active. you can move things around with ‘g’, and if you need to make a sound shorter, select one of it’s triangle handles by right clicking, and with ‘g’, slide it to the desired frame. you can also set ipos for volume in the ipo editor, which is a bit more complicated.
thanks:) But I mean… ummm, I usually save animation as avi jpeg-file. Is this bad? I don´t like avi-file because it is so big…
oh, you mean it’s not exporting the sound. yes, blender doesn’t export sound with the avi, i don’t know if it even reads it off video, but it will export the audio as a wav file into your render folder if you press ‘do sequence’ in the render buttons, and then ‘mixdown’ in the audio buttons. then you can merge the video to the audio in an application like virtualdub. as to the format, avi raw is the best quality, the others are more or less compressed. all of them support audio i think, just not in blender. so, in short, set up your audio, hit ‘do sequence’ then ‘mixdown’ and check the folder you’re set to render to for the wav file, then join in virtualdub.
thanks again! I opened virtualdub, >file>open videofile and then I select >audio>wav audio> and the I select rhe audio what I want, but nothing happens in video. and all play, pause and other-buttons are gray! I know, I´m helpless newbie…
hm, sounds like it should work, did you set your codec? under video>>compression i think. it should merge the two ok, you might look for another app that does this if you have no luck. windows movie maker will merge audio with video too, but in my version at least, it’s output is restricted to wmv format.
I made it work, but(again) when I save it, and then watched, there wasn´t sound at all:) and the file was 193mb…
