Python Console (v2.71/Windows 7, 64 Bit): External automation, shortcut for focusing

Hello,

I want to use the Python Console as a “Command Line Interface” for external automation.
When the Python Console is visible, is it possible to use a shortcut so that the console gets the focus for inputs?
Any other hints/ideas/suggestions?

many thanks for your answer. But how can I use (context) input()? I just need a window to start Python code. And that window must be accessible via a shortcut.
