Question about Compute Device in User Preferences

Hello,

I have the newest blender version (v2.65) and I am running windows 8(64) pro.

I am currently unable to change anything inside the Compute Device. All I see is none and then below that CPU. I was wondering why I am unable to see my video card here?

I have a XFX Radeon R7770 Ultimate OC and I am running 3.0ghz Intel Quad core I-5 series processor. I really don’t know of any other information to give…

This is sufficient information to tell that there’s nothing you could change. Radeons are not the ones working on Nvidia CUDA part of Cycles. Unfortunately OpenCL part of it is still not working due to, well, different reasons. If that is sorted out Radeons will do.
Right now CPU is the only option for you.
