Question about the render resolution slider

The question is in the image, you have to log in to see the image to see the question.

The percentage slider is a simple way to quickly decimate render resolution for faster concepting, so you don’t have to input numerical values each time to test different resolutions.

If you set a render resolution of 4K and percentage to 50%, the output will be 2K. No up/down scaling is involved.

The resolution settings only apply to the F12 render. Preview render, aka. viewport render will always override rendering dimensions.

Tip: You can go past 100%.
