Question: There are holes in the icing of Donut model. How to remove them?

Hello,

Thank you for having a look. FYI: I am a beginner.

As you can see in Screenshot, there are holes in the icing of donut I created after following the guru’s video. can you tell where I went worng OR How can I remove them to make it Hole-less ?

Hey there. Are you using a subdvision modifier on it? It looks like you might have either the modifiers in the wrong order, on the wrong setting possibly.

Maby the icing mesh have bad topology? It looks like you have unconected vertices or maby something done in sculpting?

What does your modifier stack look like? That effect turned out so perfectly uniform and consistent I don’t think you you did it in sculpt or edit mode. Looks like something someone would do procedurally with modifiers.

While unintentional and unwanted, I have to say that’s kind of a cool effect.
