Questions about animating an Exploded View in Blender Cycles

Hello Everyone,

I trying to create an animation that involves exploding a part as seen in a technical drawing (Not the type of explosions we see in action movies.) Is there a way to quickly take parts and just explode them normal to a surface or point?

Have each part is own separate object and then enable the ‘Manipulate Center Points’. When you scale (S) you will scale just the origin points not the meshes
