Quick Help

Sorry to ask this retardedly simple question, but I have never had this issue before…

All of a sudden it seems that when i create a polygon (or try to make a polygon) by conjoining three vertices it isn’t making a face…

I have used blender for quite sometime and this has never happened :spin:

Can anyone help?

Edit: Here’s a picture to show you what I mean.

Probably you are in textured view where faces are only visible in positive normal direction (solution: w->flip normals with everything selected)

No, Im in solid view… (And I tried that part already…)

Im a bit concerned actually because i can’t seem to find anything about this…

Alright, so I uninstalled blender and reinstalled… maybe something was wrong… So I thought…

So after installing and opening up a new blend file, i deleted the cube, put a plane down, extruded a vertex, selected two vertex’s and pressed the “f” key and it still wont work.

Can someone Please tell me what is going on here…

Can anyone help?

if you selected two vertices and pressed ‘f’ and got the result in the image in your previous post, blender is working just as it should. To create a face, you need to select 3 or 4 vertices, then press ‘f’

Post a blend that shows this problem, so much easier to help than just with images.
Also try File / Load Factory Settings to revert back to the blender default settings.
