Made a quick fan render. I had this idea of a star wars render in my head, inspired by the Force Unleashed game. In the game there is a move where you can chop an ATST straight down the middle, I always thought it was epic, so I tried to replicate that feeling in this render.

That’s a sick composition and lighting you have there, although I would add more adaptive subdivision to the ground.
But yes the particle effects and smoke were really great photorealism touches.
