QuickTime output doesn't seem to work in 4.1

setting as following:

File Format: FFmpeg video
Container: QuickTime
Video Codec: QT rle/ QT Animation
color: RGBA

the output files are all glitched out only have 1 or 2 frames, 4.0 works perfectly with exactly the same setting

It works with blender 4.1.1. (Blender 4.1.1 Release Candidate)
I don’t know if this is a bug, and you can find the bug report in the link below.

just tried 4.1.1 release, still not working properly, same glitch as 4.1

Is QuickTime installed on your system?

I don’t know if this is the cause of the problem, but the system I use is renderable and has QuickTime installed. I think this is the difference

4.0 works with exact the same setting, I just did another test, it seems FFmpeg video codec #1 output just fine, it is QT rle that is causing the problem, I think I’ll just switch to FFmpeg codec#1 from now on, same mov format and smaller size

I tested it again and there is a problem. (Blender 4.1.1 Stable version)

The space between the frames seems to be empty.
Occurs in both blender 4.1 and blender 4.2, and is handled normally in blender 3.6.

If the same problem occurs and it can be reproduced, you can submit a bug report.
