Quixel bridge displacement texture not looking correct

I am having some problems with quixel bridges 3d models. I downloaded them in high quality and set up the materials, but when I connected the displacement texture, it looked weird and not how it’s supposed to be. Any Ideas on how to fix it?

Can you point me to the Quixel file so I can look at it?

Sure, it’s called “Massive Canyon Sandstone Mesa”. I downloaded it with 8k textures in highpoly source

Just grabbed a 2k version ( I don’t have the plugin installed for 4.2) and imported the FBX. Used node wrangler to import the textures, and made sure that displacement was set in the material > settings > displacement > Displace and Bump…

comes in fine, even on my 10+ system…

This is strange, maybe it has something to do with the 8k texture? Because I followed the exact same steps as you and it’s not working. It’s a foreground asset for a 4k render so I need it in 8k
