Race track uv mapping

Hi im new here, I really need some help am trying to uv map a race track but am having problems i want to use one texture and one material so im using reset uv to tile the texture along the ripple strip and grass etc however on tight corners the texture is squished and on long straights the texture is stretched. How do i fix this?

Check Transform Object :
Select ALL objects > CTRL+A > Apply Rotation & Scale . . . and UnWrap again.

Where do i check transform object

In 3D View > Hit N-Key

This doesnt work for me maybe because i have to use reset uv’s for the texture to tile. I could fix the straight sections with ring loops but the tight corners idk
