I went through this tutorial:

and when i ran ‘Go’ I let it run for 400 runs, but it still turned out white. What should I do.

I guess you turned the emit slider up too high.

Ok That was the problem thanks!
But once i render it why does nothing show up? It looks fine in my camera view.
