Ray Transparency Causing Darkness

I am making a new eye for one of my characers, and I have: the eye outer, the pupil behind the iris, and the supposed transparent cornea. I have attached several jpgs of what is going on. My question is why it is rendering the cornea as dark and not transparent.



You probably just need to set the material beneath the cornea to receive transparent shadows.

Try it with increased Depth and enable TraShadow.

Thanks! In a sense you were both right, but Cire, you hit the nail on the head. All I had to do was set transparent shadows for the iris and it works. THanks a ton guys!
