Realistic eye "wetness"

Hello, I have been pulling my hair out over trying to figure how to do this for days to no avail. My question is pretty simple: How do I make the thin line of water around the eye without having to manually remodel it every frame when animating and moving the eye and lids?

This image shows what I am talking about:

Texturing probably, add it to the lid instead of the eye.

Material and texturing support forum might provide more help.

I don’t think texturing the lid achieves the desired effect. As can be seen on the sample image, the wetness is ON the eye, not on the lid. Only texturing the lid would make it look flat and not fully realistic.
