Made this for 3December. Started with the woods… then while looking at references, saw this video of red cardinals in winter - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs_85qsYGSs&ab_channel=FrederickDunn was awestruck by the color and contrast in these shots. Tried to capture the feel of it.
