Reference character mesh

This is my first ever character on Blender!!!



this is a drawing I drew a while ago and is the reference picture of the above image.

Any critiques and tips on how I can improve are musts and will be very appreciated.

Looks like an interesting scene, and the result looks okay, but I think it could be improved a bit. First, I’m seeing a lot of wrinkling and folding in the character’s face. I would suspect this is due to faulty topology. If you could, it would be helpful if you could post some pictures of your wireframe so we could properly evaluate it.

Second, your lighting is full on, 100% in the character’s face. You should search Google for tips on how to create a proper 3-point lighting rig. This will eliminate the harsh lighting, and add some nice colors and details.
