Orthographic Camera Scale

Add-on for changing the orthographic scale of camera in 3D viewport using a shortcut.

Scaling is performed with focus on the 3D cursor.

The purpose of the add-on is to match a camera background reference image with a rough model to be able to refine it. Move your camera and match one part of the image (e.g. a corner) with a reference, place the 3D cursor there, then use the add-on shortcut to scale the rest of the model. The part of the image next to the 3D cursor will remain in place.

Pressing the shortcut and moving the mouse cursor to the left increases orthographic scale (zoom out), moving to the right decreases it (zoom in).

Shortcut
Default shortcut is Alt S, and it can be customized in the add-on preferences.
