I’m trying to connect an armature already animated to a cyborg suit by using the bone name / vertex group name correspondence but every time the whole mesh gets hook to only one bone…
I also tryed by having every part of the suit has a unique mesh but it’s doing the same thing as well.

The model on one side looks like its working (for what has been done.) The model on the other side isn’t being deformed by the armature because it doesn’t have an armature modifier. A quick way to make an armature modifier is to select mesh in 3D viewport, shift select armature, ctrl p parent with armature deform (although parenting with empty groups is a faster way to create the vertex groups you need.)
