The Role
Superbloom Games is a mobile start-up company looking for a creative and ambitious Senior 3D Artist to join our journey to build our first title.
You will be a core member of our small team, responsible for creating beautiful game art that brings delight and joy to our players. You will have the unique opportunity of bringing big impacts to a small and growing company that aims to change the gaming landscape for women. The role is available as contract/ full time, remotely based in the US or Europe.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing interior references and mood boards with the team and ideate game scenes and art assets.
- Create hyper-realistic 3D art, interior scenes and furniture in the quality and aesthetic of our game.
- Work hands-on with developers, other artists and designers in the core team to implement art and assets into the game
- Give feedback & suggestions on how we could innovate the game from art and design perspective
- Create marketing assets for branding and user acquisition
- Benchmark other games and provide feedback on how we could improve our game art
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience as an artist in the gaming or interior visualisation industry
- Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Substance 3D Designer and Adobo Suite etc.
- Excellent visual design skills around interior styles, modern furniture, realistic materials and lighting.
- Great eye for details, and familiar with general art theories, colours and compositions.
- Experience with scripting for Blender, procedural materials and working with Unity is a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge with the latest game art trends, techniques and technologies
- Thrives in small, autonomous, and highly productive teams as a team player
- Excellent communication skills
