I’m facing an issue with background video alignment in Blender. In the viewport, my background video and 3D object are perfectly aligned. However, when I render the scene, the alignment is off, and the 3D object doesn’t match the video background correctly.
I’m using a video as a background through the ‘Background Images’ option.
The viewport looks fine, but the rendered image shows a mismatch.
I’ve attached a screenshot for reference: on the left, you can see the correct viewport setup, and on the right is the rendered image with the misalignment.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I’d appreciate any guid
Your render size and your background image size are the same, your resolution is at 100% and you do not use any overscan feature/ addon and you aren’t using any composition cropping ?
Thank you for getting back to me! This is a screenshot of my composite and export settings. I used the AE2Blend add-on for video camera import, and I haven’t used any overscan feature or composition cropping. Despite that, I still can’t get the render to map correctly with the background video
