I noticed something peculiar when trying to save a rendered image. When I use the Render button or F12, the rendered image does not get saved to the directory specified on the left. However, if I hit the Anim button images get rendered and saved. I have been using Anim with start and end frames set to 1. Is this how it is supposed to work or am I not doing something correctly? I’m using version 2.32.
After you have hit the big RENDER button, you have to manaully save it.
Go to the FILE menu > SAVE IMAGE
Make sure to type in the extension for the image format you rendered in
ie. TGA=targa… JPEG=Jpeg etc…
or press f3
