I want to use the render region function (just render a part of the image) in Blender for exporting/rendering an animation (image sequence). It works, but it always only exports one frame and not the whole sequence.
Hi.
Are you forgetting to click Render Animation rather than Render?
Just tested and it worked in both Cycles / Eevee. All frames.
Version 3.5.1 using Linux.
Hi, thanks for answering. Yeah, I really clicked “Render Animation”. Good to know that it basically works, yet I still have not figured out what I am doing wrong.
You could try copying everything into a new file and see if it works there.
It could be a corrupted file, although that has not been much of an issue for the last year. May be worth checking…
Is it working OK without Render Region active?
Render Region may not be the issue.
I think it actually might be a broken file - thinking about it, some other things did not work in the project. It’s an animation of a crow from Turbosquid which I opened in Blender 3.5. It helps me that you guys say that render region is also possible in animations.
