Render suddenly purple

Today, without changing anything at all, my render suddenly started turning out purple. All my backups (excluding the ones with a different filename) were affected as well. Dropbox automatically keeps backups, and even their backups were purple.

I have absolutely no idea what’s going on, the material colours are still the same and so is the lighting.

I’ve even tested on different computers by the way, still turned out purple.

check the world material. happened to me when i moved the hdri image and blender couldn’t find it anymore

I figured as much, but removing the texture didn’t help. Now I redownloaded the texture and put it back, and it works again. Thank you very much!
