How does your random IDs pass differ from cryptomatte?
This looks realy handy for quick fixes in photoshop. How does the Render Mask Pass for selected objects work âunder the hoodâ?, is it âjustâ using compositing and masking based on the id mask or is there some other trickery involved?
IT works the same as ID pass in 3dsmax Vray or Corona, I ustead to use it in 3dsmax for rendering so i create the same for i can use in Blender
I built it for we only select the object or objects in the viewport that we want to render and then just hit render mask and you will get the final image with only that object perfect masked and transparent background the same ilumination, etc it works like corona render selected
I working to add also the possibility to do the render animation for both render id and render mask selected
Neat, will definetly have a look at this once i finde some time. I think there are som plans/talk about geting a sort of âcopy render to system clipboardâ feature in blender at some point too, then this would be an even faster workflow for those small âquick and dirtyâ fixes
Does it work with animation, or only stills?
