I just started having an issue with render mode…
It stays like that, not sure what it’s doing or why. I’m in Cycles, using GPU and Optix. I didn’t have this issue before, so I’m assuming/hoping I just accidently clicked something I shouldn’t have.

I closed the file, reopened it, it was OK briefly, but after editing the texture in nodes a little, it happened again. It’s like it doesn’t refresh the texture.
Edit: It seems to only occur in Optix. But this is weird I haven’t had any problems with Optix until now.
The only thing I can think is I tried to do a test render yesterday, and I got a error warning (unfortunately I didn’t note what it said) so I switched to render in CUDA instead, which worked.
After updating to Blender 2.9 I actually got an error message that helped, Optix does not support AO or bevel shaders yet.
