Rendered texture blurry (blender engine)

Hi all,

I’m trying to create a scene where a textured light is projecting onto a sphere using Blender engine. Everything looks finee in the 3D window, material view, but when I hit F12, the resulting texture is just a big blur. Why is this happening?

The texture is actually a video, but it works just fine if I apply it directly to the object (which is not an option in this case).

I just tried projecting a still image, and it’s not blurry but severely distorted. Does lamp texturing work in Blender engine at all?

It’s also important that you included an example blend file and accompanying screenshots with your original post. You failed to do that so nothing to respond to
