Hi, Here is another newbie questiom…
I was playing around with FKEY doing this man … http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Detailing_Your_Simple_Person_2 . It all looks fine in Editmode. But when i exit Editmode or render it the human looks liks this…
what to do?
Not too healthy, then? It seems you may have accidentally selected a wrong vertex while making faces. If possible, try to undo your last moves, by pressing U in Edit Mode or Ctrl-Z.

are you sure you are scaling him and not moving the camera or something?
How about armatures? it might flick back to the original if you are scaling or doing something in pose mode instead of edit…

I’m sure that im scaling my model. I right-click it and it gets pink. Then i hit the SKEY to scale…
Haven’t touched the armatures yet…
I’m a bit lost.

how do you finish the scale? does it suddenly pop back to its original size?
make sure you use left mouse button instead of right to confirm.
other than that, im not really sure.

oh… sorry what i ment was: I press the TAB-KEY to enter Editmode. Then i hit AKEY and Then SKEY…
I finish scaling by hittig LMB. Well it scales… But when i exit Editmode it jumps back to the orginal size. If i then enter Editmode agian it gets small… So its only small in Editmode.

Put it on Shape key 2 (or if youre still in 2.37a then select RVK Key 2) and Tab into edit mode and all will be well.
