Replace materials colour with texture paint colours

I have newer use materials so please be gentle.

I have used salon Darakhshan 2d fur martial to create this wonderful brown fur. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q92qCM0QzA

But I want to replace the brown colour with this colourful texture paint. Simple right. I have tried for weeks with different setups but I can’t figure out how to do it please help.

I can not read your nodes but I would do this, set the fur image to black and white then multiply the new colour by the fur image (you can use the factor to control the intensity)

since you so skilfull I have to ask. Do you know how to fix overlaping issus.

These are the UV seams.

The legs are unwrapped in one direction and the body in the other.

If the fur is a large texture (not a small tiled one) you can paint over the seams in texture paint to get a transition between the 2 directions.

If the fur is a small tiled seamless texture that repeats you would have to bake it into a large one (that covers all the UV map) and then paint on that.
