I finally took the time to reproduce the “Earth Curve” animation node setup from Wiresoul Studio in Blender’s geometry nodes.

It’s not fully procedural though. I was not able to successfully UV unwrap the ico sphere procedurally in order to slap a world map on it as I don’t understand how to do that with the UV nodes, so if anybody has an idea as to how to proceed.
