Nicely done, but I can’t get over this:
Haha! It’s been a while indeed!

Wow, this is impressive! How extensive is the rig?

Hey, thanks! I’m glad you like it
I created a rig for the main body (of which the only visible geo is the head), the rest is used for the cloth simulation and garment creation for the body spandex suit and the gloves.
The body rig consists mainly of normal bones, with the exception of the (kinda huge) ears which are using bendy bones.
For the accessories rig, I’m not a rigger/animator so my solution is pretty basic, consisting only of parenting and curve hooks, it does not use an armature. I could have explored an armature but my time was limited, so I had to come up with a simpler/faster solution.
I realized (when it was too late) the curve hooks are not a good idea if you need very precise control of the curve’s point types/handles, since if you edit the curve’s hook-bound points, their locations will not be the “visible” locations, and this makes it challenging to create the different poses.
