Resize Mesh From Scaled Size

Hey guys, I was just wondering if this is possible… I would love to be able to resize the actual mesh of an object from the scaled size. In other words, grab an object and scale it down in object mode, then hit this special button I’m imagining, and the object’s scale is back to 1.00 x 1.00, but the mesh of the object is the same size you scaled it to. If this isn’t currently feasible maybe it would be a good addition to 2.5. Additionally you could change the actual rotation of the mesh based on the rotated object.

You mean Ctrl+A (Scale and Rotation to ObData) ?
