Please vote for age, also total amount of people voted means amount of active registered BGE users!
Perhaps, it is not the most proper place to put this poll, but I think this is an interesting question: HOW OLD ARE BGE USERS?
ACTIVE BGE USERS: 112
AVERAGE AGE: 22.3 years
DISPERSION: 8.5 years
IT MEANS:
60% of active BGE users here are between 14 and 31 years old
90% of active BGE users here are between 5 and 39 year old
With some “magic” I fitter Maxwell destribution to the statistics. It is different from what the poll shows, because you need to normalise with each interval size. For instance for 13-17 group it is 5, for 18-24 it is 7, etc
It’s funny, for a while age polls were posted so frequently that we had to make a rule against them. This is the first one I’ve seen for a long time, so I will let it live.
I decided to bump for the last time, so perhaps we can get like 100 people for proper statistics. After that I will process results in matlab and how here
@PlantPerson
I have been monitoring the forum for like 9 months regularly, I saw no such thread.
@cybor_ar
to me the curve looks like Maxwell, its skewness is not zero like in normal destribution.
Maybe more like a Poisson distribution? There seems to be a long tail…
More detail is definately becoming clear as more people respond. Very interesting and none-frivolous poll for a change.
Even those who got tired of the age polls before might find it interesting to see the BGE demographics after such a massive and ongoing improvement in the engine.
could be interesting how low we’ve using blender, I’ve started since 2.21, and at first, it was a mess, a lot of buttons and no idea what was every button for I was around 15, or 16, now I’m 23
