Hi,
this is basically a script I had written to force Blender to resume baking a simulation from a specific frame, even after crashing, when there is no “Resume” button.
I decided to release it for free. Use at your own risk though as it makes Blender think it had just paused baking at the frame you selected.
I don’t know what would happen if any of your settings were different when resuming.
