Rice Field Terrain

Hi! I am attempting to model this kind of terrain. I am not sure how to achieve this kind of leveled, incremental terrain look. I’ve attempted to play around with Landscape add-on, but haven’t gotten anything satisfying out of it.

As I see it, you could make that terrain from a circle and fit some of the vertices to make it looks like on the image above, or, make it from scratch by using Mesh > Single Vert. After that, for multiply it for a certain number, you can try to use an Array Modifier, then use Relative Offset option in there to make a shift.

I would create a height map in photoshop/gimp and would then use it as displacement map.

Hi all, thank you so much for such quick and detailed replies! I think I will go with the node-based tutorials for my scene given it will be a more aerial view. Thank you all for bringing unique approaches into the conversation!
