The concept art of Artur Rocha inspired this project. I enjoyed his design so much that I decided to explore different angles of this character. My first intention was to study some specific Blender tools for modeling, UVs and rendering.
Another tool that helped me a lot to achieved the desired result was Affinity Photo. It has an excellent support for 32bits linear workspace and Blender’s filmic OCIO colors.
Modeled in Zbrush and Blender, textured in Substance Painter, rendered in Cycles and post produced in Affinity Photo.
