Doess anyone happen to know where I can download a (free) rigged charactor for blender ? It does not need to be of a high quality - I’m really just looking for a digital wooden maniquin, so to speak.

A little while back Apollux posted his character for his Muffin Legacy project. https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35417
You will need toloban’s weight transfer script to rig the clothing. You can get it from his website. Select the body first, then the clothing, then apply the script. After that, select the clothing then the armature and press Ctrl-P --> Armature --> Don’t create vertex groups.
They are both very good. Note that if you want to do anything commercial with it you’ll have to contact Apollux.
