Rigging question for collaboration -- keyframes missing

I have a weird issue happening. I’m rigging a character and another person is animating it, as one does. I’ve had to make some rig adjustments, and when I’ve done so, the animator has lost some of his keyframes from the animation. As I don’t touch the animation, I have no idea why this is going on. Any ideas would be helpful.

Key frame is a recording of given bone position, rotation, and scale. Did you adjusted any of those parameters when you adjusted the rig?

Chances are you probably renamed one or more bones at some point when tweaking the rig (assuming that the changes weren’t something benign, like tweaking joint positions to adjust how a bone pivots)

Ah! That’s what happened. I renamed a bone to make it consistent with our naming conventions.
