Rigify Bone Heat error?

Just tried Rigify for the first time, made the rig then positioned / generated the controls / hid bones / selected all objects & controls last then parented and no matter what I try (applying any modifiers etc.) always has Bone Heat Weighting failed ! ?

Almost certainly topological errors in your mesh, like:

  • Duplicate Vertices.
  • Non-Manifold faces (eternal faces)
  • Gaps in the mesh.
  • Unapplied rotations and scales on mesh and/or armature
  • Many others.

Blend file please, or at least an image of it in Edit mode, showing the transform on the mesh and armature, like this:

Thanks for the reply. I tried importing 1 main object into a new project and repeating what I tried and works fine.

My project has slowed down a lot since I started it, maybe some problem not very apparent.
