For the smoke simulation I had to experiment a lot to get to this result. Then after I got closer to what I wanted I rendered a couple versions of the same file with different force fields and small changes. This way I could composite the smoke all over the scene with changes of time offset, scale and rotation to make it look like every smoke was a different one.
