I have a question.
Is their a free program to make a robot or a machine, like if you let something turn another part will turn as well, like a chain on your bicycle.
If you look at da vinci machines a program they make that machines, something like that program.

Blender is a great free program to do that 
But more seriously I take it you are looking for something more technical like CAD? There is a program called FreeCAD (Win/Mac/Ubu), its a professional technical modeller, and it does mechanics (robots). You could try GoogleScketchup, my opinion of it is admitably low, but you can try. You can allays go to Wikipedia and search the open source software list there, there is some good stuff there, you might find something you like.

I remember seeing a program like that. It wasn’t a CAD program. It was a sim program similar to what you can do in the Blender game engine. Unfortunately I can’t recall the name of it. I’ll try to find it on google.
