Rock salt Material, stripes

Dear experienced Blender users,

please help me finding a solution for the following task:

The material I am looking for respectively that I would love to know about how to create it in Blender is:

Rock salt.

Nice, beige to orange colored chunks of “Himalayan” rock salt with stripes and color variation, as u can see in the uploaded picture

I would start with a PBR texture set that looks like the pattern you want. Then turn up the transmission roughness all the way and adjust transmission until it looks right.

Because there has to be some “inner” structure… you might have a look at

and experimentalise with some additinal 3D noise …??

You can search for [
Himalayan Salt Blocks, select Large for the image size and grab a few that are close to what you need…you might need to remap the texture to a UV flat Plane if it is skewed when you find them…
Materializer is a really good way to create your base maps from the diffuse image…
Just had time to mock up a quick example…no time to map it but used the first wall example…
